Erie Canal Cruise: Bob & Elaine's 50th Anniversary

Instead of throwing a big party, Bart's parents Bob and Elaine decided to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with their immediate family by enjoying one of Central New York State's famous attractions -- the Erie Canal. The family boarded the "Sam Patch" canal boat at Pittsford, NY, and enjoyed a leisurely cruise on a beautiful Sunday in August, 2000. The family had the boat all to themselves: Bob & Elaine; Elaine's brother Maurice and his wife Jeanne; Bart's elder sister Sue, her husband Ken, and three daughters Jacquie, Cheryl, and Beverly; and younger sister Linda, her husband Jim, son Chad, and daughter Colby.
