Executive Committee of the Washington DC National Tartan Day Committee
of the American Scottish Foundation;
designed and maintained website; handled marketing and public relations;
assisted in managing the National Tartan Day Festival and assisted in
coordinating the seven other events; chair of TartanFest 2004 (see www.TartanDay.org)

Member of charitable and social organization of men of Scottish descent,
which was founded in 1760 (DC chapter founded in 1855.) Member of
the Corps of Stewards from 1997 to the present; and St.
Andrew's Society of DC Newsletter Editor from 1998 to 2001.
